Since 2002, I have owned MY STUDIO, LLC, in Haddon Township, where I also hold classes in Drawing and Painting. My work has been exhibited in many local juried art shows and is in many public and private collections. I studied ceramics and sculpting at Rutgers University, Camden and drawing and painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Philadelphia. I am a member of the Portrait Society of America, The Plastic Club, Philadelphia, Markeim Arts Center, a signature member of the NJ Pastel Painters Society, and a juried associate member of the Pastel Society of America.

My attraction to pastel painting is in the intensity of the medium, specifically the touch and feel of color. The richness of the hues in the play of lights and darks, warms and cools, lines and shadows is immediate. Pastels aid in my ability to quickly convey the individualities of my sitters in their moment on my stage. I feel I am successful when the personality and the person look out from the same page.
